I checked out the 1001 nights, and it's smashing...but unfortunately the hip straps are not for me. Plus I have a burgundy costume already. Sorry, Melly - I do appreciate the offer though.

I would be open to a trade, but there is a pretty narrow range of things I'd be interested in - something of comparable quality in a forest green, maybe a dark purple, or something in the brown/coppery/gold/ realm. Something with a 2 piece bedlah preferred. If anyone is interested in the copper Loop and wants to discuss a trade, I'm open to offers...

If I hadn't just bought a Great Loop in relatively close measurements to your size, I would've been all over this! I am glad to see that the fringe isn't overwhelming, you definitely have me more excited for mine now (if that was even possible).

Nope, the fringe isn't overwhelming at all. I have a shorter torso so too much fringe really overwhelms me and this costume was very flattering.

I might be interested if I can scrape together the funds (and I just got paid from a big freelance job, so it's possible). If I needed to alter the belt to be slightly smaller (maybe 2", no more), would that be possible, or would it look weird?

It's a 2 piece belt, so it's very easy to make smaller and still have the belt be symmetrical. You have a set of hooks on each side, so you just take them both in an inch. It would not look weird at all.
