Zills are gone....wish I had enough for everybody!

I have a set of freshly polished Saroyan Ghwazee zills that need a new home...brand new they were $37.OO, with shipping $45.00. They come with their own red outside/blue inside zippered pouch. I'll let them go for $35, shipping included, in the U.S. Out of country ladies---I'll ship to you though the final bill will be more. As sad as it is, shipping is a lot more to you out there. I also have three sets of student zills that I'm selling for $35.00 (reduced from $45 after thinking about it), shipping included in the U.S. One set is sand cast single hole, one is the usual plain two hole type, and the third set are quite pretty--two hole with Egyptian cartouches on them. I didn't polish these. Same shipping practices apply to these too. I love to trade too! Specific trade items: solid color rectangular 3 yard 6mm or 8mm silk, doesn't have to be a brand name, just no holes or dark stains; brass Afghani cymbals or equivalent 2 3/4 inch brass of another brand as long as they sound nice and are heavy weight. Go figure, I probably have the smallest hands out of most of my teacher's students and I like the big whopping zills! I'd also consider trading for bellydance sewing patterns, fabric, trim, etc. If someone out there requires more goodies from me I could add to what I have here (like some pretty jewelry?). Let's have some fun!

Hmmm....well, I really could use a veil....would you believe I own only one right now? I love it but a heavier weight and/or a solid color would be wonderful. Red, pink, turquoise, royal blue would be my first picks. Oh yeah, 3 yard lengths would be great. Lessee...what else...I'm putting together some things to wear with a pink/turquoise/black bedlah I bought for another Bhuzzer I have a black chiffon skirt and that's it! Any ideas?

I'm good for the skirt. I'd love to have a set of sleeves in black chiffon or a Turkish vest with sleeves in plain black. If you're asking about veils, silk is what I need for our upcoming student night. Everyone else is using solid colors, so two of us have orange and yellow. I thought another bright jewel tone solid would go with them well. We're all using 6mm so the veils float the same. It's a cute little choreography we're doing and it goes right into a drum solo (really a trio...three out of five of us are doing it). White would be nice too and if I get tired of it I could have it dyed. Another thing I really could use is a set of brass Afghanis or comparable 2 3/4 inch brass zills of another brand. I have found someone on Tribe that has a set she can sell me but trading would be nice. I don't mean to ask for so much Anala, just giving you ideas. I can also offer you goodies to add to the zills so it's more even. I'd also trade for fabric and trim if you'd like to clean out your fabric stash. :)

I do have a solid white silk..but I am afraid I dont know the weight. I am pretty sure it is a 6...but cant say for a fact. Fabric stash...An aquamarine non shiny 2 way lycra..many yards....looks good with turq without overpowering it.

Would you like to trade for the veil? 6mm is okay with me and what's nice about it is the fact that I can have it dyed later if I need to. Would you trade for the lycra also or is this an either/or thing? If it is I could send you some pretty jewelry (just tell me your favorite color) or the student zills also. This economy is horrible but it's fun being creative and bartering, like in the REALLY old days. P.S...is the lycra a true turquoise or is it teal? If it's truly turquoise I'd love to have it.

Photos up...the photos of the silk tops are for gloworm who asked me about them. On my monitor the aqua (4 yards) came out true. The white is a bit more cream on my screen than it is in real life.

Wow! Pretty! The white veil looks like a 6mm which is what I've been looking for. The turquoise fabric is perfect and it will make my bedlah pop! I think it will make a dynamite fishtail hem skirt and Turkish vest with sleeves. I love the colors of the other veils...how much do you want for them?
