NEED YOUR HELP : looking for practice gear

Hi, I am new to this site (it's wonderful!!) and am a beginner dancer. I am looking specifically for Gypsy-ish style (tie front, long sleeve) cholli tops and black pants with a flar-ish leg to practice in. (Not a really full leg like the tribal pants, but sort of like the ones on the "Shimmy" program on Fitness t.v.)

I have checked the swap meet section here and searched all over ebay and the web but to now avail. Maybe I'm not using the correct terminology (I am so totally new at this) Even a good pair of full length yoga pants.

Also Where is a good source to find beaded hip scarves/belts that are not as loud as the coin hip scarves would be most helpful. I want some movement and swing but a bit less noise for classes. .

You could try getting some hip scarves with just beading or a fringed (pakistani??) belt???

Hello - I bought my first pair of dance pants at T. J. Maxx, a local discount store, second pair at a local dance store. Tie tops I got at Sharifwear dot com. Here is a link to lots of online stores. Moondance is good for saving money.

I have this royal blue set. If the skirt is too short, I could sell you the velvet choli top and belt set by itself.

I would suggest, if you want some really beautiful stuff, Nourhan Sharif's "Sharifwear". Also, L. Rose has a deal for new students. I think it includes harem pants or a circle skirt, a veil, and a choli top...don't quote me on that. But it looked like a good deal.

They also have a jazz pants + half top deal for, I think, $65.
