ISO: bedlah for D girls
I am in need of a bedlah for when I perform with my troupe. I am partial to gold, purple, or hot pink, but will consider other colors.
My rough measurements are 34" underbust C/D cup
hip 39"
low hip "41
length 37"
Price range under $300, please.
(way under would be best, lol)
I just need the bra and belt, not necessarily any skirt, veil, arm bands, etc.
Thankx!
Vahana

Re: ISO: bedlah for D girls
I still have the top bedlah on this page available (although I've recently got something that matches it pretty well.)

Re: ISO: bedlah for D girls
Thx Nepenthe. I like that a lot, but can the waist belt be removed and still keep the structure of the belt?
Also, what is Max the length of the waist belt?
The hip belt sounds fine, but I find that those darn waist things are frequently too tight on me and give me an unsightly roll.

Re: ISO: bedlah for D girls
I have two or 3 sets I need to sell - gold with paillette fringe, purple Necklemanns and a black/silver Topkapi (bit undecided on that one, but if someone wanted it enough .....) All have skirts and other bits that go with them (2 are L Rose straight velvet) if you want the extras. I'm in the process of taking pictures of them all.

Re: ISO: bedlah for D girls
Great! I can't wait to see them. Is the Necklemann's the seed bead or glass beaded?

Re: ISO: bedlah for D girls
It's seed beaded, it's very light to wear. I think the model name is Michelle, it's colour was listed as amethyst. I've had to reinforce the straps on this one as they were very elastic, and they've been crossed at the back and stitched down. Will try to take some pics and then work out how to list them here ...

I had the same questions as Vahana.
It is a beautiful set. I'm not sure where in line I am, but am definitely interested in hearing more about the set :)

Re: ISO: bedlah for D girls
I haven't heard back from Nepenthe, so I don't know what the answers to our questions are.
I am stepping out of line for the Mikayla purple. I love purple, but I don't think that particular set is for me. It is lovely though.

Re: ISO: bedlah for D girls
Sorry it's taken me so long to post back here ... I can't upload the photos!
Anyway if oneone's still interested I've got 3 sets for sale, gold paillette (approx 35D, 35 hip), Topkapi silver/black (approx. 39 D, hips approx 39) and a purple Neckelmanns, which I've relooked at and think it's only a large C, currently set at 32 underbust but quite stretchy, could go at least 34/35, hips 35. Also available are black L Rose straight skirt and gauntlets and purple/blue tie dye L Rose straight skirt, U top, headband and armbands (will suit purple and gold sets).
If anyone wants photos I'd be happy to email them; my email is rflude@iinet.net.au.

having tried the set in question on, i'll try to answer your questions, bearing in mind I don't have measurements handy.
You can take the waist strap off very easily, but it will leave a point, which you may like. If you tucked that point in, you'd very easily have a straight edged belt, to make it clean, you'd have to pick out some of the beading, which could be used to embellish the edge, but it has a lovely lotus design on it that you might want to keep.
I also saw an example of a costume, where someone edged the belt with lycra, and subsequently wore the entire belt lower on her hips. If I were to buy this set (and I'm tempted, especially with the tiger striped skirt Nepenthe ordered) I'd do that.
