Deep, dark, plum Turkish vest now finished--reduced to $25!
The dark plum, gold embroidered Turkish vest is now finished and ready to go! It's a nice light weight, shimmery fabric that is such a rich color that it's almost black. It is lined in black 50/50 black fabric of very high quality. These vests have cute little points above the bust line and at the middle in the back...I hang a nice tassel from the back one for an accent. I made one for my teacher and one of her troupe members and they wore them to Rakkasah and WOW! They looked so nice! It's a great fit for many body types and sizes and I'll include a large snap and hook to make it fit securely to you.
My teacher has since worn hers three or four times, so I guess she loves it!

I could get some posted tomorrow, though I might have a buyer. I do have more of this fabric if you wouldn't mind waiting until next week to get it. I was digging around my fabric stash and I found some leopard print fabric; it's some kind of a synthetic but it's got a nice hand to it. In essence, I have enough fabric to make two more leopard print vests and a few more plum. Maybe I should take orders, heh, heh, heh.

The leopard print vest arrived today!
Excuse the seriously crummy pictures, but it was warm today, so I have my hair clipped up and off my neck. No makeup, yadda yadda. I grabbed the bra I wore this weekend and had laying out to air. I took the pictures with my cell phone. Basically every possible thing that can be blamed for bad pictures! ;)
