Innocent! I was just quoting! "Your new Minoan gown" meaning "my new Minoan gown." An innocent misunderstanding!
(Unless of course you want it.)

This I cannot imagine! But the pickles and cream cheese sound great. We'll probably be there in the next couple of months so don't worry about the care package, though I thank you. We should plan these trips around things like the wine festival, but of course that would require being organized....

Re: Tunics, Crochet Dress, Shawls and more
Hey Anala,
I'm probably going to regret this, but I'm going to pass on the fuschia tunic. I need to stick to my Bellydance budget. I would snatch up that galabeya you got, but it looks too hot for me!
Thanx anyway!

Hi Anala
Sorry, I seemed to have missed your post about Oz shipping for the galabaya - is it still available? I would like to take it off your hands ...

Yes it is - and 12 isnt too bad is it? Lets call it an even 15 for shipping and I will make sure it gets insured for full value and has a tracking mumber as well.

Re: Tunics, Crochet Dress, Shawls and more
yes, that's amazingly cheap shipping, I can barely get a dvd posted for that! Do you want to send me a paypal request or do I make a straight payment? By the way, I think I recently bought one of your previous costumes, a white bedlah with teal and copper swirls? Beautiful!

Re: Tunics, Crochet Dress, Shawls and more
ohhhh !!! I am sooooo pleased. That - my dear - was my first real bedlah and I cant tell you how much I laboured over that! I redid it 4 times before I was happy with that bra! The bridgework was a labor of love!!! I cut my sewing teeth on that set.
Just send Oz money to the paypal addy on the first page of the thread....

Re: Tunics, Crochet Dress, Shawls and more
Did you make it all yourself??? I know you extended the bra - such an amazing job! The beadwork is so professional! I'm taking it one step further and am replacing the silver barrel beads with czech crystal (because I can't leave anything alone). I'll have to mess around with the bra a bit to get it to fit but once it does it will be soooo good (I've even bought a set of white pearl wings to go with it)

Re: Tunics, Crochet Dress, Shawls and more
The green shawl arrived. So pretty! And it only tried to strangle me once since I took it out of the envelope.
I noticed the shipping was closer to $4. Will Paypal the extra 2. Thanks again.

Re: Tunics, Crochet Dress, Shawls and more
Hi, Anala,
I keep coming back to this thread to drool over the black velvet choli/skirt set. My hesitation comes from the top going up to a 40 bust. I'm a 10-12, 36A, and I'm afraid there would be too much 'air-conditioning' in the top.
If you think it would fit me without too much 'gap', how much extra for shipping to 20708?
Thanks,
Sylvia

Re: Tunics, Crochet Dress, Shawls and more
If you are a 10-12, as am I, you must have a bit of girth about the shoulders? Or are you all hip? Measure your bust around the fullest part and get back to me with that number. I will tell you that it fits a bit tight on me...
