ICELAND and costumes

Dear Bhuzers!

I’, so sorry for disappear for a wale of my favorite website. But I’ve been have A LOT OF PROBLEMS since someone calls the customers and complained about me cheating on tax here in Iceland.
Let me explain you better.

I hade a lot of trouble to get the costumes from Jatgirl (White Eman-January “I think” I bought in that time) I receive this costume in April. I also got in the same time TanyaSF-Pharaonics and the red one)

ALL THE OTHER COSTUMES I BOUGHT (22 in total) I Can not receive it. The reason is:

In the beginner of March someone call the Central Post officer in Iceland and said that I’ve been cheating on them in not paying the right amount in tax for each costume.
She(he) said that: each costume worth around 850U$ + shipping + tax= 1.100U$
They said to me: If I want to get the costumes, I need to pay for now one: 222,41+50(shipping)= 272,41U$
Imagine you guys, I have to pay almost 300U$ per costume!!! I still have left to get 19 costumes… that means I have to pay= U$5.175,79 JUST TO GET THE COSTUMES!!!

The thing is: most of the costumes now back to you. And I ask you that sold me or trade costumes with me to PLEASE be honest and send m e a email to: josy@magadans.is
I was wondering just to sell the costumes back on Bhuz.
At the moment, I’m waiting until my lawyer trying to solve this problem. She also trying to get the name of person that did that me, because I want to sue her (him).
I just didn’t wrote here before, because I was just waiting for a good news, but is taking so long, that I start to think that I will loose all the costumes I bought here.

And I just decide to write here on that thread, because it’s the easy way to get everyone.

I still love all of you, and all your costumes… as soon this thing will be finish.. II LL BE BACK

Oh no! That is so awful! I am really sorry to hear that. I sent you a gold bra and belt set from Mahmoud's along with a DVD and carrying bag. The package never came back to me, but I didn't get a confirmation from you. This might have been before these problems started, I don't remember when it was that you bought it. Did you end up getting it?

850.00 per used costume? Couldn't you get some kind of written statement from each person you bought from stating what the costume is(used/new), and sold for?

Oh Josy, what a mess!

I haven't been involved with any transactions with you, but I certainly hope everything gets straightened out. I also sincerely hope that it all turns out to be a misunderstanding and not something malicious...though it sure doesn't sound good. :-( What a terrible situation....

Good luck and hope everything works out as it should and that any responsible/nasty parties pay the price....

Re: ICELAND and costumes

Hi Josy -
That's terrible! I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope you can find out who caused the issue and get it remedied. In the meantime, I'll watch for the yellow Pharaonics that I traded you for the white/purple Bella in February to come back and let you know if it shows up.
Could they let you at least differentiate from costumes you purchased vs. costumes you traded for? It seems any trades shouldn't count because no money is exchanged for them, and it really is like a gift, more or less.
Good luck and keep us posted!

YES, I spoke wth them about that. Thething is: if EACH person that I bought or tradecostume writea letter to them, explained the situation, like... i sold to josy at this amount, balbalbalbalablabl... then they could think about in charge me much less... but Im not sure if the girls here would like to do that. I have to talk to them tomorrow, i ll ask if a email will be enouth. If so, will really help me. And I know the girls here are very nice and honesty, im sure they will do something t help me out.

Re: ICELAND and costumes

Dear Josy,

I am so sorry to hear about this mess. That is terrible, and it really makes me mad that somebody would not only call the post office, but purposefully misrepresent the value of the costumes.

I did a search here on bhuz and found a bunch of your old posts. If you don't hear back from the people with whom you bought/traded costumes, can you comb through the archives to find them? I know that there are times when I've gone a little too crazy with the costumes and I have my husband put a web blocker on bhuz! LOL.

I think that I have not sold you any costumes this year. I believe the last one was the lime green Eman.

Lots of love and good luck to you. I will keep you in my thoughts.

Alimah

JOSY!! I got a return package from you (Eman Secret of the Sphinx). It said "unclaimed" so I got worried. I'm holding it for you so let me know what you would like to do. We can talk via PM if you like.

Re: ICELAND and costumes

Josy, that's just terrible! It's the same here in the US ...... if you don't move your car every two hours in SF you get a $50 ticket, if you leave your trash cans where anyone can see them you can be fined hundreds of dollars, but in the meantime, drugs are pouring into the US, customs does nothing about the really "big stuff"--no resources for enforcement, they spend it all on shooting fish in a barrel......

....did you get the dark orange Bella and the royal blue/silver Madam Abla? It would be heartbreaking if the Bella didn't get to you....it is beautiful. I was just going to email you to see if you got them because I hadn't heard from you in a while....

....you know what's really strange? When I got the last Bella I bought off her web site, I paid over $900 for the costume, but the customs slip attached to the box was something like $80 I think! I remember being really surprised, because I thought Bella would insure for the full price of the costume, and you can't do that if you only put a fraction of the total cost on the form...hmmmmmm......
