I bought this costume from Samanthafortunata and have only worn it once. I believe she only wore it once as well. The costume looks great on me but the skirt is a mile too long. I rolled it up at the waist band for the one performance I did in it. I'd love to find something with a shorter skirt. I paid $650 for it but would let it go for $500 or best offer. It's in great condition. Here's the measurements from the original post:

Bra: was padded for b cup, without padding c cup
max length around ribcage - 33 inches
Belt: 2 pieces
front - 15 inches
back - 26 inches
Skirt: 38 inches long

I'm a C cup and could wear this, although it's on the edge of being too small. In the photo I'm wearing the veil tucked into the hip. I'd call it more of an eggplant/plum color more than a true purple.

It comes with bra, belt skirt, arm sleeves, headband and veil.

I agree with Anya dance if it is only the lenght of the skirt bothering you, you could order something from Lrose.

You look absolutely wonderful with this costume.
There is an easy way to make the skirt shorter:
I have the same costume, once i rented it for a tv program for an actress that is a few inches shorter than me. the way to shorten the skirt was to take in some chiffon under the part of the skirt that is opaque ( i hope your skirt is made the same way , I bought mine a few years ago).
When i took back the costume i undid the seem and got back the skirt to the original lenght. that is good if you want to resell your costume later on.

Thanks for the tip Palmier. Did your skirt have a ruched panel in the front? I wonder if taking it up as you described would make too much bulk on the front ruching, but I suppose I could try pinning it to see what it looks like. I may do that if nobody steps forward to buy this. It is a gorgeous costume. I'm also fairly talented at making my own skirts so I could take the costume with me to the fabric store to match something to it if I decide I can't shorten the existing skirt. I was thinking another chiffon circle skirt, or maybe satin.

The front of the skirt is like mine. when i shortened the skirt temporarly, i took in maybe 3-4 inches that i folded inside the opaque fabric, you could do it by hand with a loose stich just to see if it could work for you .
I dont know by how much you have to shorten it. you cant shorten it by the top since you loose the opaque part that gives this skirt a different shape from the regular chiffon skirts.
The iridescent chiffon of this costume is so nice, Samantha was looking for a veil to go with this so i saw the set in person, and the colour suits you well.

Yeah, I need to shorten it about 4 inches. If it doesn't sell, I'll try your suggestion. The color is really spectacular. It would be hard to match something to it perfectly.

Hi Tabitha, I'm just coming to this thread to put this on hold for BernieV. If it doesn't work out, you can be next in line.

Where does 34" measure on your hips (upper or lower)? My upper hip is 36, so I don't think taking it in a little more would look funny at all. It's in two pieces so you can just center front and back and sew on one side and move the hooks on the other.
