First, one of the prettiest caftans I've seen. I bought this from a Navy guy stationed in Dubai, who bought it locally. I fell in love with it, even knowing that it wouldn't fit me, and have enjoyed having it in my closet. But maybe it would fit one of my Bhuz buddies? The fabric is what I think of as "Saudi green" -- the same as their flag etc -- and the embroidery is the same quality as some of my collectors'-quality khaleegy thobes -- heavy metallic, nice and bright. Measurements taken flat: length 50 ", Bust 22", hips 25". Fabric is silky-feeling but may be polyester. $55 includes shipping in U.S. SOLD!

Still available, a maroon Moroccan caftan that I bargained long and hard for, in several languages. Excellent condition. Measurements: length: 52", bust (measured flat) 17 1/2, hips 21", sleeve 21 1/2". Cotton. $25 includes shipping in U.S. SOLD!

The third caftan is also from Morocco, also bargained a long time for this one. Pretty blue fabric with soutache braid trim. Total length is 53". Very roomy; about 56 inches around. $30 includes free shipping in U.S. SOLD!


Still available is a burgundy caftan from Egypt, with traditional Egyptian appliqués. This one is a bargain, because there's a bit of fraying: it has button and loop trim, and three of the buttonloops frayed when I washed it. Length (shoulder to hem) 52". Oh man! I needed one of these a month ago and couldn't find any affordable ones. I ended up buying a plain black ugly one off ebay. Bummer. These are great.

I might want one, I don't like mine, but I can't see the photos! And, I can't log in to bhuz right now, dang it! I can't figure out your measurements (call me stupid, it's okay)....what size do you normally wear, in other words, would they fit a size 6 or swallow me, or be tight?
