Purple dress and Turquoise/gold set both DD size

I have apparently lost enough wieght to make these two costumes just hang on me now so time for them to find a new home. I had to put the photos on LJ because Bhuzz didn't like the file size *grin*. Any questions, just ask!

First up, the purple dress. I've worn it all of maybe two times because velvet in Yuma, not such a great idea.
The bra has a 41" band from end to end with the hooks set for a 35" ribcage currently. The cup is a DD, approximately 6 1/2" from top to bottom edge and 9" from center of the bra to the edge of the cup. There is a small amount of discoloring in the lining.
The dress is 54" from shoulder to hem, with the hip 33" unstretched, 44" max stretch.
This dress is too pretty to be sitting in my closet where no one can see it. I'm asking 300.00 for it and I will pay shipping for anywhere in the US.
for sale : dress with bra
for sale : purple bra
for sale : inside view
for sale : dress front
for sale : dress back

Turquiose set Sold!
Second up the turquoise and gold bra and skirt. I bought this one from another dancer several years ago. It looks great on, but needs some tlc on the inside. The bra lining should probably be replaced soon, and there are unfinished seams under the straps and around the hem.
The bra is a DD cup, the actual cups being 6 1/2" deep from center to bottom edge and about 9" across from center of the bra to the outer edge of the cup. I have small hooks sewn into the bottom edge for hooking a body stocking to it but those can easily be removed. The bra band is 36" from end to end.
The skirt is 37" long from top to bottom hem, with the hip being 29" relaxed and a max stretch of abut 40". It has a gathered spot at the top of the slit which you can see in the photo of the front of the skirt. I wore it with the slit to one side, however the beadworks is such you could pretty much wear the slit however you wish.
I'm asking 125.00 for this one and again I'll pay for shipping withing the US.
for sale : turquoise and gold
for sale : bra only
for sale : skirt back
for sale : skirt
for sale : close up of bra lining
for sale : inside of bra

Hi! I'm potentially interested in either or both, but would really like to see them on a body. Any chance you have photos? If not, could you give me an idea of what size you were when the costumes fit you well (e.g. bra size, upper hip measurement, lower hip measurement)? Thanks!

These pictures are from 2004/2005 so the quality on them isn't the greatest but here you go. I do already have someone interested in the turquiose set pending finding out what shipping out of the US will cost, but just in case I put a photo of it here also.

Purple (unfortunately I don't have a full length shot to show the whole dress, but this should give you an idea of the fit.)

Thanks for adding the photos. I'm afraid that both bras woudl be too wide on me. I'm pretty narrow through the ribs (29" ribcage). Good luck! They're both beautiful costumes so they should sell quick.

Beautiful Viv-especially the purple. Don't have time to study the measurements right now but what american size would you say purple dress is and how tall are you? Would it fit a 5'9"er

Re: Purple dress and Turquoise/gold set both DD size

I'm 5'6" and the hem hits the top of my feet, there is a small amount of hem that could be let down, maybe about another inch, but it might still be a bit short on you, just depends on where you want that bottom hem to hit. I would hazzard a guess at it being somewhere between a size 10 to 14 in dress size. There is a lot of stretch room in the dress itself and depending on your hip size you might gain a bit of length that way as well.
Hope that helps answer your question!
