Okay- here's a few things I'm venturing to sell- please read the descriptions and take note that some items are not in great shape or they'd be priced much higher but I figured they might still be useful for someone as a base to add to, for a student, Halloween, someone on a tight budget, whatever...some items are in good shape and just belong in this price range. If I weren't totally broke I would just give this stuff to my students but none of them are performing right now and this is all taking up space- I figured see if anyone was interested.
Please also read my answers below to questions I've received for more info on some items. I have a few more things to add that I haven't photographed yet but need to get this started so ...

***SOLD***First I have a gold bra and belt that used to belong to Ansuya. The beading and sequins seem to be intact but the larger paillettes have all lost some color-- although not real noticeable from a bit of a distance but maybe you could cut off just the paillettes. The lining is a bit grungy (I've never worn or washed it- probably some Shout would freshen it up) and she had cut it up the middle in order to exchange out the pads. The belt is in two pieces-- front is about 14 inches, back is 23 inches. Bra B/small C-- should fit A with push up pads.
Still a deal at this price- a little heavier then the 'basic' bra and belt set that usually go for $110-$150--it does have beads in between all the sequins.

***I noticed that there are a few strands of beads missing from back of belt and other strands that are still beaded but the thread is showing on top-I have reduced this item to $45 including shipping***SOLD***

Nude Bedlah SOLD************



Skirt-- looks brown but in certain light it has a shimmery burgundy quality to it. There are beads and sequins in white,light salmon, gold, silver, red and more. Overall it's in good shape- I don't really note any issues although it's definitely not brand new-- the only problem it had was the beading on the slit had totally come undone- I removed the little that was left and it did not damage the skirt..
the beading on the waistband is fine.
Length about 41, waistband about 17 across unstretched

Then I have two Neckelmann's bedlah's These usually go for about $175-$190. I own three and all of them have unfortunately been prone to lose strands of beads regularly. I purchased both of these from other dancers but the purpley one was for sure brand new at the time and the darker one had been worn once which I believe since when I got it it wasn't falling apart yet! I have worn each just a few times. The darker one (multicolor borealis beads and sequins) lost one strand of beads on the bra--not noticeable, and lost 2 inch section of sequins on one bra strap. It is the loop style with loops of beads over your rib cage. The belt looks good in front with just a few strands missing but the back has a couple one inch sections and a two inch section of missing strands. Still the beads and sequins are in good shape, the bra looks good and maybe you can either replace some strands, loop up some of the strands on the belt, wear it in combination with something else, or some other idea.

The other one is purple with orange, pink and blue accents. Bra has lost a few strands of beads from the cups but not overly noticeable- still a lot left. I have one bra strap which I hooked around to wear it as a halter- will have to look and see if I find the other one- nothing missing off the strap. The belt is missing sections of strands-- mostly on the sides oddly enough-- so you could tuck up a skirt or wear a veil tucked at the sides and cover a lot of it.

It's a shame because these are really pretty and super-light and comfy bedlahs with a lot of shine-- I guess they just used crappy thread and/or were not diligent about tying off the ends of the strands well.

Both are padded and to fit a 34B-- should fit C with pads removed
Belts are both about 36 long- remember they sit on your upper hip and the strands fall over the wider part of your hip-- I was 39 inches at the widest when I wore these.

interested in this...Next I have a nude bedlah with a pretty pattern of gold, white, silver and borealis beads and sequins--in good shape except the little hanging pointy paillettes some of which I cut pieces off of due to color fading-- I would maybe go ahead at this point and cut off all of them and maybe add some new ones or some stones. Still has life left-- my daughter wore it with the brown skirt I am also listing here as well as a nude satin skirt. Bra is Currently padded to fit an A/B- would fit a small C without the pads i think.
Belt is almost 42 across.

Mintaka-- the gold cups are almost 7 across and 6 from top to bottom (I am tucking the tape into the cup as I measure, not pulling it tight across)

Could you also measure the front underbust measurement (from the outsde of one cup to the outside of the other) and tell me how long the beaded part on the back piece of the belt is? Thanks so much, sorry to be a pain!

No problem Mintaka- if I'm measuring right the underbust is 12-- I am going along the bottom of the bra so to the outside of each cups bottom-- obviously the sides of the cups go out another inch or so more...

If I understand your question on the beads on the belt-- some of the strands are up to 8 inches long-- if you measure from the bottom middle of the belt they hang off about 5 inches below the belt but closer to the sides it hangs 8 inches off the belt (but the ends of those strands are even with each other-- then there are purposely shorter sections between the very back and the sides.

I must mention in looking at it more closely to measure the strands I do see there are some that have lost beads-- and even some that have beads but the thread is showing on the top couple inches of the strand for some reason. Let's make this one

Ha! I am scrambling looking for the pictures of the nude....and find out I probably already owned it! Too funny!
