I'm sorry if this is a completely newbie question, but do you take the pose from the photos or is the photo the starting point for your inspiration?
I just flipped through your recently completed commissions page and... WOW! is all I can say. Gorgeous!

I use all poses as a point of reference...i esspecially want to see them for hte sake of personality. I can't tell a personality of a dancer form one photo unless we chat alot theni can get a feel. But since these are so customized i like ot only use the poses as inspiration...as one part of te whole dancer.

(By the way, it's fun to meet someone else who names her computer. I used to call mine Casper back when it was mild-mannered. Once it developed an unreliable temperament, it was re-christened Raoul.)

No Prob. Raoul is an AWESOME name!
Nigil's dad, Virgil kicked the bucket last year around this time, blew a transistor on the motherboard  (lots of smoke and plastic burning smell)...but i didn't loose anything he was old and i knew it was coming LOL so in Virgil's honour i named my new baby boy Nigil.
Honestly these are all the kids i need..i swear they know when you bad mouth'em sometimes...
