Wall Tapestry - shisha smoking/dagger dancer - SOLD

Already setup for hanging on the wall with tapestry loops at the top and it is lined.

Bought this last year during a "shopping therapy" incident . . . lol, it lasted way too long since it also included my ebay attack with the purchase of several antique assuit shawls (a couple now on sale here).

This is a really nice heavy tapestry with the typical orientalist themed scenes such as the shisha smoking group, the musicians and the dancer with the daggers.

SOLD Asking $150 includes shipping in the U.S. with extra for priority and Canada (I'll have to check on Canada shipping plus it is quite heavy too so shipping overseas would be way too much I am sure but if someone wants it I can find out).

I was the original owner. I dragged this back personally from my trip to Egypt. This picture is not close up, but you see the size in relation to the room and furniture. It is gorgeous! I have bought many tapestries off ebay for Middle Eastern events that are that thin floppy stuff, and this is magnificent. It is completely lined with heavy satin and trimmed in heavy tapastry fabric. It is a REAL tapestry, many times they are not.

Thanks, Thalia, for posting that photo! I was going to look for it but I got a bit busy. It really is a nice heavy tapestry . . . as you say "REAL". hehe, I have a few of those little ones (antiques too) that were very popular many years ago. They are really thin compared to this one. But, alas, I really don't have the proper space to display it as you did . . . that photo sure makes it look nice. I think I need a bigger house.
