For Sale: A new, never worn (still has all original tags/packaging etc. attached) Revlon Hair Magic hair piece.
Model: Morning Star (this one's hard to find!)
Color: Dark Brown 4/6R (pretty much the color pictured here, I think)
It's layered:
Top: 7 - 8 1/2"
Sides & Back: 15 - 10 1/2"
Neckline: 17 1/2"
If you're not familiar with Hair Magic, it's a 3/4 wig that actually has a loose weave so you can pull your own hair through/blend it in for more length or volume etc. (So it can be a good alternative to, say, extensions or faux ponies.) Supposedly because of this it's less important that color be a precise match too. Here's a link to a YouTube video about how the product works.
It normally retails for $99.
I'm asking $67 (including shipping within the US) but will entertain offers.
How'd I come to have this/be selling it without wearing it? Ok, I bought this with a particular performance in mind, but as soon as it came and I looked at it I realized I don't know what I was thinking--there wasn't any way I was going to be able to pull my wooly-textured waist length hair through this thing and get it to blend with the shorter, softer layers. (As one "friend" put it "No, no, no, no! You'll just look like Medusa busting through a wig

Ok...she had a point.) Also...apparently I have a teeny-tiny pea-head. It's been pointed out to me that I need an extra small wig cap and this is a standard size. (I placed it on my head once, and it comes down over my hairline and ears. So much for dignity....) But on someone with a more normal head size, with more normal hair who is either growing her hair out or has hair in the mid-neck-to-below-the-shoulder length range, this would be beautiful!
Unfortunately, there was a seven day return period on it, and I was traveling so much during the period I ordered it/that it came, that I missed the return window.
So, my misfortune could be your bargain!
