ISO chandelier style Shemadan

Does anyone have for sale or know where I could find the really elegant shemadans that have multiple tiers and lengths of crystal hanging from the tiers?
Many thanks!

You mean like this?

Make it yourself, or add "stuff" to an existing one...

Z, I've been wanting to ask you about the red lining in your shamadan.

Is your padding under it? Over it? Between 2 layers of lining material? I want to line mine, but I can't figure out how to work it around the padding!

(make them for us, Zorba!!)

You MADE that!?!? Wow. Wish I could pull that off. At present, I wouldn't even know where to start. I'm handy with textiles, but that's fantastic!! If you ever wanted to make some more...?

If you can get the head piece, then hang out at thrift stores looking at lamps for the 50's and 60's. Some are plastic. Most are screw mounted to their base and the base is the heaviest part. Disconnect the base, take the electrical bits out, connect the lamp the base, et voila! you have a very individual shamadan! Then you hot glue oor otherwise affix the swags to it!

The fabric is UNDER the mole-foam padding.

Tahiradancer has the right idea - bolt a "real" candelabrum or chandelier onto an existing crown. Just check it well for balance...

Re: ISO chandelier style Shemadan

Did you see this thread:

Shamadan for sale

Although it looks like that one's been spoken for (about 5 times thus far I think). I wish ones like that were more readily available - I wouldn't have had to have gone through all the trouble of making mine, plus having 110,478 dancers begging me to make THEM one just like it every time I post that picture!

But casing thrift stores is an excellent idea on many levels - you just never know what will turn up. Mine started as a thrift store find - $8! I stood there for half an hour trying to figure out how I could make it work as it wasn't an easy conversion of the type Tahiradancer was suggesting (and I suggest it too!). I finally had to tell myself "Zorba, it's EIGHT BUCKS! Buy the damn thing and figure it out later!"
