Looking for lots of dance items-please see my list!
I am looking for a lot of items that I am in need of for dance, and because of the extensive list, I was hoping to get some of this second hand. Please let me know if you have anything that I could use!
I am in need of some inexpensive costumes to accomodate my weight loss over the next few months that can be adjusted (think stretch velvet, costumes with full elastic waist skirts and tie tops, etc. rather than bedlahs at this point). I am also looking for inexpensive costume items that I can wear to one of my gigs-a restaurant that is smaller and much more casual, where I don't want to wear some of my expensive stuff.
I am also looking for inexpensive costume items for students of mine who are still hobbyists, and on strict budgets, but want costumes for haflas, nursing home performances, etc. and other misc. dance items.
My list:
~Hermes dance sandals (I wear a size 9 in street shoe)
~Inexpensive costumes with tie tops that can be adjusted to different sizes
I am thinking of things like Dahlal's Sahara Sunrise-the tie dyed top/skirt/veil set sold new for $95, or Dahlal's Caravan Coordinates-the top and skirt with paillettes all over them, L. Rose tops/skirts, the higher quality We 3 Bellydance costumes, etc.
~Inexpensive dance tops (such as from Moondance, Dahlal, L. Rose, etc.) in sizes M, L or XL/1X-any style
~Harem pants-my favorites are the ones by Juliari Designs (eBay seller).
~Matching full skirt/veil sets
~Sharifwear tops/skirts/dresses size M, L, and XL
~Unitards for classwear (myself and for students) in M, L, XL/1X
~used music cds in excellent condition (I would prefer to pay a for a handful of them, rather than 1, to save shipping.)

I have a unitard with flesh tone mesh center, short sleeves that I would be willing to let go of. I believe it is a size M. Only worn twice.

Re: Looking for lots of dance items-please see my list!
I have an inexpensive costume, perfect for a student, the bra is free size but it is not a "real" bra and would not support a larger top without a bra being sewn into it or some other alteration. The skirt is not free size, which is why I need to sell it- I was going to bling it up, but I wear about a 6 and it's a good 2 sizes too big for me- I can post the measurements and more specific info if there is any interest. $50 plus $8.95 priority ship.

Re: Looking for lots of dance items-please see my list!
OK, here is more info on the set I have, there are also a couple more pics if you click the back button in my photobucket album. The pics are a bit darker than the actual costume which is fuschia, the blue is turquoise-ish blue. It is in new condition. Base of bra and belt are made of fuchsia velvet (not high quality velvet though); decoration is comprised of turquoise, fuchsia, and silver sequins; fuchsia bugle beads, fuchsia seed beads and turquoise pearl beads. Front of bra has 4" fuchsia fringe. Skirt's V pattern has same fringe hanging from it. This V pattern and fringe give the illusion of a belt but is sewn on the skirt. Bottom portion of skirt is made up of alternating dark fuchsia and turquoise-ish blue sheer chiffon panels. Velcro and hook closures on bra. Tag states Large, made in India.
Measurements:
Bra is best for A-B- maybe small C cup. It is a soft, no underwire, and is lined with polyester satin. There's little support for larger sizes though there may be enough coverage for bigger cup sizes. Under bust straps are elasticized and measures 32" unstretched to 42" stretched. Halter straps have no stretch and measure 10" each.
Skirt measures 34" at upper hip (no stretch here) (this is why I thought it would work for me but it seems to fit a little bigger because of the V-shape) and 40"- 44" in the lower hip (a little stretch). Length of front is 36" top to bottom. Back of skirt is straight across at the top making the length 38".
Sorry to hijack your thread, ambriehlmagycblade, if you're not interested there is somebody else that may be.

Aladdins Cave Web pants
I'd be happy to sell these black "web" Sharifwear pants size XL. They are hardly worn. Just not me. £18/36$ including postage. They have been shortened a little.now measure 39"
I also have 4 Turkish CDs Raks-1 feyzah 1-4 30$ (including postage)
A real mix of tracks. And not very Turkish sounding! More Egyptian actually.

Re: Looking for lots of dance items-please see my list!
I have this skirt listed here on Bhuz: http://www.bhuz.com/forum/bellydance...le-1-left.html It will fit someone in the medium size range-6/8/10. I also have a better quality pink paillette skirt with veil that has never been worn, it was a gift from my husband but matches nothing that I own. He paid $125 for the set, willing to let it go for $50. Enterprising student could fashion a top from the veil?? I have a pair of silver harem pants made from a light weight lurex knit fabric that I would throw in for free if you purchase either skirt from me...there's nothing wrong with them, I just haven't worn them in a long time.

Re: Looking for lots of dance items-please see my list!
I have a few things:
(1) Burgundy double-layer chiffon skirt + matching veil, both are edged w/ gold beads and sequins. Skirt is 36" long, has 2 side slits, and underskirt is hemmed w/ micro-filament. Elastic waist, fits 37", will probably go upto 40" comfortably. $50
(2) Burgundy velvet w/ gold coins hip scarf. $30
(3) Costume -- champagne colored lycra 2-piece costume w/ gold beading. Fits a C cup w/ padding, so probably accomodates a D w/o. Current underbust is about 32", w/ much overlap. I added elastic to keep the skirt up -- fits my 37inch hips but could go bigger (remove elastic) or smaller (replace/shorten elastic). Length of skirt is 40", but some of the length is taken up by curves -- maybe 37" long when worn. It is similar to the "Great Basic" style that was on bellydanceshop.com. $125.

Re: Looking for lots of dance items-please see my list!
I have a purple m/L coin top from moondance. Here is the link to a photo. I had the bottom two rows of coins removed since this photo, so now there are only 3 rows. It was danced in twice. I can give you the additional material for arm bands or another creative use.
purple Indian top w/ coins - tribe.net
I would like $12
I also have a pair of purple velvet harem pants from missbellydance that I was never able to wear because they are too short for me. Here is the link to those -
Harem pants for sale - tribe.net
$12 also.
Thankx!

I'm at work so I can't measure the skirt but I would say it would easily fit sizes 6-12 for the waist. I can measure it for you when I get home...
