Too early to ask who's attending Spring Caravan?
Is it too early to ask who's going to Spring Caravan in June? I was lucky enough to attend my first Rakkasah last October and have been waiting for Spring Caravan ever since. I'll be there Friday through closing time on Sunday, and I'll be taking at least one workshop every day.
So who else is going? I'd love to meet some fellow Bhuzzers!

Re: Too early to ask?
Hi, Shems, Sukira!
Shems - Can't wait to see you dance! How exciting!
Sukira - Yay, we'll be in two workshops together! Suhalia's "Lucious Layering" on Friday afternoon, and Suhalia and Jamilia's "Format Combos with Locks and Pops" on Sunday. (Saturday, I'll be in Asharah's "Pops, Locks and Tick Tocks" class.) Totally cool!!

Re: Too early to ask?
I'm supposed to dance Sunday w/Djinn, and bunking w/ you Saturday night Shems? We should talk...
Also- looking forward to the great Indian buffet lunch- we can pack in all those delicious calories we burned off in the workshops...
If you don't know where the indian food is, ask around- lots of people can tell you...

Re: Too early to ask?
Definitley NOT too early. I've been thinking about going since, hmmmm, January at least. But I am still not sure if and when I am going. But I hope I can get backstage again to help.

Re: Too early to ask?
Hey, this is great!!! I'm totally NOT local, so having dancers who know what's what is perfect! Hmm, we should swap phone numbers so we can meet up - pm me if you want mine!
I reserved a hotel room this afternoon. Wicked pumped! Wish I had room-mates, though.

Re: Too early to ask who's attending Spring Caravan?
Anyone else gonna be there? Are you dancing? Attending workshops? Shopping? (whoot, shopping!!!! you know I'm saving my money!!!) *grin*
I think a BHUZ party's a fab idea! It'll be the most happening event all week! Where/when do y'all want to meet up? Friday night, Saturday sometime? Someone mentioned "the Indian place"..... is that as good for dinner/after dinner as for a lunch buffet?
Let's get together, for real! How many BHUZZERS can we pack into one place?

Re: Too early to ask who's attending Spring Caravan?
Rosehips!!! I loved your performance last year at Rakkasah East; can't wait to see you again. And vending? Oh, I hope so!! I met Brenda at Kassar's workshop this past weekend and she was wearing the belt she bought at your RI workshop a few months ago. It was gorgeous! (BTW - when are you coming back to RI, or, could we be so lucky, Central, MA?)
Ruta21030, "Cleo's Closet", eh? It's a good thing I started saving $ for this event two months ago!
This is great - there's gonna be a whole bunch 'o Bhuzzers there!

Re: Too early to ask who's attending Spring Caravan?
I'm trying to talk the hubby into coming up with me on Sunday. I want to see Dalia Carella's performance -- she's a longtime friend -- and also Arianna al-Tiye, Shems, and others! My classes will be ending that week, so I'll be starting my summer vacation!

Re: Too early to ask who's attending Spring Caravan?
Thank you!
I actually just got the word I will be vending too! In the mainroom! So I'll be there all weekend (now to make hotel reservations!).
For sure, I'll be up in MA in October for Raks Spooki - otherwise, I'm not sure exactly---hubby's going to be up there visiting some of our friends while I'm away at Tribal Fest with the other half of our friends from New England...so maybe 4th of July weekend...
