Well, Najma, I had planned to go, even filled out my form to take a workshop/maybe dance, but my grad-school-bound daughter asked me to take a little school-shopping trip with her to the East Coast. I am so going to the East Coast, even if it is July and even if it is SAMEDA Faire!

you have a grad-school age daughter? how is this possible? either Celestina is a prodigy or you adopted someone when you were in grade school.

My baby is only 17; it would be great if she were an academic prodigy, but I'll settle for her being a kinda belly dancing prodigy!

My older daughter will be 22 when she enters grad school in 2008. The way things are going, the longer I'm married and the older the kids get, I'll have been married before I was born and had my first child as a toddler!

Dang all those people who think we're ready for the rocking chair just because we're (ahem) "over 40."
