Boston-area Bhuzzers: BD in Boston?

How about this Friday night, July 13, Boston area?

My (over 21) daughter and I are staying just west of Boston, in Norwood, but will probably be in town all day. So what about night life?

Is there any BDing to see? I can do without a fancy dinner if I must, but I'd really love to see a show! Is there more than one place at different times within a reasonable driving distance? (We have a car) Or two shows at one place? It would be great to see some East Coast dancing!

Byblos, in Norwood. dunno if they have a swebsite, but Aazura dances there.

I'll be at Byblos on Saturday, the 14th. Not sure who's dancing on Friday. Their website is www.byblosrestaurant.com. Karouns in Newton has dancing on Friday and Saturday as well.

Well, we did get to Byblos in Norwood on Friday, July 13, after a very full day in Boston and was I surprised to find live musicians playing up a storm! Woo-Hoo!

We missed the first show. My reservationless daughter and I ended up in an unfortunate table on the wall farthest from the dance floor with a wall blocking our view; I got up and danced with the other ladies enjoying themselves. Got tired of seeing only an arm here and a string of beads there at the second show, so we got up and stood in the doorway to see it.

Had we been in the Boston area over the weekend, I would have dragged my daughter to another show but, as it was, we were on our way to Willliamsburg, VA the next day.

Hi Deborah - Glad you had a good time! I agree the floor layout isn't ideal at Byblos but they treat us well there! Sorry you couldn't make my show on Sat the 14th -- would have loved to meet you!
