I'll be in Chicago, July 28th-31st

Hey guys, I'm going to a seminar-thing for work in Chicago July 30-Aug 1, and decided to fly up early. The 27th is my birthday, so I'm having my birthday weekend in the big city Over the weekend, we're staying in the city, and Mon and Tuesday I'll be staying out by the airport.

Anyway, I would love to see some dancing while I'm there. I know there are some seriously awesome dancers in Chicago, but I've only seen the ones who have come down to visit us in St Louis. Restaurant shows would be great, or if there's a nice hookah bar with a good dancer, I think I could convince some friends to come along.

Even better, if there happened to be a hafla or other intermediate student-appropriate show I could get a spot in Saturday night, that would be even more awesome.

Also, Dahlena has her weeklong intensive that weekend, too. Her show is Sunday night. Might be a good one to go to. Ive got to teach class and I might head up after.

Is that really all that's going on in Chicago this weekend? I tried looking at the ChicagoBellydancers website, but it's shutting down.

My boyfriend and friends loved the idea of a hookah bar with a dancer. Saturday night? Bueler?

A bunch of friends and I are going to see her dance
this Friday night at Kan Zaman on N Wells and she is
just beautiful. And I also believe that Erika has danced
at Sigara Lounge also (says so on her web site). And if
you get a chance go to Tizi (above suggestion)on Sunday
to watch Erika - she is georgous and such an expressive dancer.
