Hi everyone,
Just wanted to repost the invitation to the MECDA Dance Party which will be held in San Diego, CA on Sept. 30th. Everyone is invited and everyone may perform. Please pass this info. on to your students and anyone who might like the event.
Our goal is to create a fun, supportive environment where everybody can get up and dance, regardless of experience or "dance level".

The event will be held at The Firehouse La Jolla YMCA, 7877 Herschel
Ave. La Jolla, CA 92037. 12-5
Everyone is invited!
DANCE: Bring a costume and dance to your own 5-10 minute performance CD,
musicians if minimal set up. Please bring drums!
Sign-ups at the door to schedule your own show. Soloist or groups. A great place to perform in a fun, supportive environment.
POT LUCK: Bring your favorite dish to share.
VENDORS: All kinds of goodies

Admission: MECDA member $4 (Or $2 WITH pot luck);
NON-MECDA $5 (Or $3 WITH pot luck)
No unauthorized video cameras. Please ask before recording or taking photos of a
dancer. This helps everyone feel comfortable during their performance. Thank
you for understanding.
We will be accepting clothing donations to take to the local womens' shelter.
