Aw, you guys are so lucky! I met Za-beth in 2004 at the Jillina workshop in Syracuse. What a sweetheart she is! She brought the house down with her number in the evening show.
Have fun! One of these days I'll make it to MA and take a class/workshop with her or those she sponsors.

I will be there, but sorry to say not dancing. I'll be traveling with my lovely friend Irit, who WILL be dancing - for the first time in her fab teal Bella she bought in Turkey. I'm psyched to see some of my fave Massachusetts dancers performing, including Sardis and Najmat! I'm expecting to get extra-inspired for this rapidly upcoming night club show up here in the boonies, of which I am co-organizer (and yes, our poster babe here is a fellow BHUZzer ):
Welcome
Rosette

Wish I could make it to see everyone! I had a wonderful time at the BDSS event recently sponsored by Za-beth!

According to what Za-Beth emailed the dancers, doors are at 1pm, CD performances start at 2pm and run until about 4pm, open floor w/band until 4:30, then an hour or so of live performances to the band, with everything being over at about 6pm. Standard belly dance time disclaimer, of course.

I wish I knew Probably a mixture leaning toward the Arabic side, we've got Bruce Rawan, Kanoun ~ Rich Bayruti, Oud & Vocals ~ Wayne Rawan, Dumbek, although I could have sworn I read somewhere last week that Mike G. from the Athenian Corner was going to be playing dumbek instead.
