Thought I ought to properly say hello.

I am all brand new and shiny to this bellydance thing, well kinda, I did some lessons a couple of years back, and didn't get along too well in an enormous mixed ability class. I still really wanted to dance, so I am giving it another go, in a new town with a new teacher.

I love dancing, very hard to keep me still when there is music going on. I also love ME culture, having lived for a long while in a mostly ME community here in the UK.

I'm really into the aesthetics of BD too, I used to do dress design kinda professionally (part-time) and I am looking forward to transfering this into costumes! I'm also a hair and make up fanatic.

Edit: I probably should have mentioned that I am also a poi performer, and I have been dancing with fire poi and fans for a couple of years.
