Hi from Reading, England
Hi All
Been a 'spectator' for some time now, but really thought I should join.
I have been dancing for 5 or 6 years, I teach a group of beginners and I am in a troupe and dance solo too, mainly Egyptian and fusion styles. I love to travel in the middle east/north Africa and am hopefully going to the Nile Group festival in Cairo in November - hooray!
My main downfall is an addiction to costumes - but I do sell them on once I have worn them a few times - it's always nice to see them go to good homes! Watch out for me on the swap forum!!

Re: Hi from Reading, England
Thanks for the nice comments about my solo - I usually prefer to dance closer to the audience but there were markings on the floor we couldn't cross over otherwise we would not be filmed! I felt a bit distant!

I don't know how to interpret a UK address but I looked at my address book and it says:
Tilehurst/Reading (a mixture of letters and numbers)
Berkshire, UK
Does that make any sense to you?

Re: Hi from Reading, England
The letters and numbers are the postcode (zip).
I live only a couple of miles from there too, it's on the other side of town to me though.
Small world eh?

Re: Hi from Reading, England
Yep - Tilehurst is the suburb to the west of the town centre and I live to the south - I took classes in Tilehurst until recently but we changed venues.
It is a small world!
