Kind-of new...

I've been a Bhuz member for a while, but never properly introduced myself.

I've been dancing in Western Australia for 4 or 5 years now. I just love the fun and grace of it.

I'm a bit of a costume junkie. That's what brought me to Bhuz actually: someone sent me a link to a costume for sale! I sew my own costumes a lot, but the intricate beading completely does my head in, which is why I like to buy them too!

What sorts of things do you sew? I'm in the middle of remaking a skirt and vest set so that it fits properly, and attempting a velvet cabaret dress. As well as all the half-finished projects!

Wow! I love Perth. I've been there three times on holidays (my dad used to live there, in East Perth), and I loved it. It's a beautiful city, great wining and dining!

I'm in Brisbane. Formerly of Melbourne.

i have currently been sewing cholis for a friend to put in her shop. my 'real' job is a bridal seamstress. some of the fun bellydance stuff is here on another blog i keep. you have to scroll down pretty far to find the bellydance stuff now!

I love Perth too... more when I'm returning from somewhere else though! When I'm staying put I get kinda bored, but isn't that everyone? Brisbane is great, although I found it a bit too sticky! I visited in January - not a good month to make a first impression of any city in Australia I think. I love Melbourne though. I've been there 6 or so times.

Wow! My sewing is just a hobby... I sell on ebay and make for friends :)
