Hi!
I'm Sa'diyya from TX. I've been on here off and on, but lately I've been posting a lot, but I don't really know anybody very well, so I thought I would properly introduce myself to everyone! Hello!

Sa'diyya, did you compete at MEDINA in St. Louis a couple of years ago? Placed, didn't you, along with Oreet and Shabnam? If so I've seen you dance, you were lovely.

Hi everyone! i did compete in the medina contest and got 2nd place. I wish they were still putting that on! It was a great one! I competed in a lot of competitions a while back, but haven't done so many lately - I'll have to get back into it - it's a great way to meet other dancers and make friends!

Nice to meet everyone - hopefully in person in the future!

Hi Sa'diyya,
I've seen you in L.A. before - with BDSS? Or, am I thinking of someone else? Ah it was you - I remember that performance to this day. Actually, I think of it often because it was the first time I realized how different rhythms needed to be treated uniquely within an oriental song. D'oh! I was still fairly new then and had spent time up to that point with more of a fusion/tribaret dance education.
So, you contributed greatly to my "Egyptianization." :)
