Sry my intro late!

I made my bhuz awhile ago and didn't get around to introducing myself..which I'm very sry for. My name is Brittany, i've been into bellydancing for 2 years now nearly 3. I mostly have used it for weightloss but I'm now collecting instructional Dvds since I can't go to classes. I would like to be a pro bellydancer one day..so if ya have any advice to give plz do. I'm very friendly and I try to to be helpful to anyone in need!

Hi,
You should try and take classes. About 3 or 4 of those dvds would equal an eight week session with a teacher. There is a big difference. When you study with an instuctor in person you can be corrected if you are having technque problems. It is also fun to dance with a group of people learning the same thing.

I agree with the class thing - try and take classes. You always learn more with a teacher there to correct you, especially if you want to go pro (I'm not a professional dancer; this is just my opinion).
There are a ton of great DVDs out there, which can be a great supplement to class. But I wouldn't trade my classes in for anything!

I would love to take classes but I don't have the money or a way to get to them right now thats why I'm havin to just make due with the Dvds but I agree I do need to take classes but thats going to have to wait awhile which stinks
