hi: it's bananarchy in berkeley
Hello everyone, I've been lurking a while and finally decided to sign on. The swap meet thread is where I spend most of my time -- think I'm developing a kind of sparkle fetish.
I've been dancing a couple of years, mostly at Suhaila's studio (I confess I'm a Suhaila format nerd). I've sampled other bd classes, also found a great jazz dance class; have done some ballet and bhangra, and want to try Persian. I've taken hip-hop, which I'm terrible at, but love it anyway b/c it's fun.
Bananas are my favorite fruit. Banana + Anarchy: suggests to me a silly, slapstick, mad-cap frenzy; good-natured chaos. And, "bananarchy" is a word that makes me happy so I thought I'd use it here.
