Just signed on. My name is Anala and I am in sunny Southern New Mexico and I look forward to establishing relationships...learning, and buying fabulous pre loved costumes!!!

I think my costume collection is quite modest compared to most. I have two bedlah's (a madame abla and a pharaonics, each with a trumpet and a circle skirt), one fancy beaded dress, one Fifi style beledi dress, one shapeless cotton galibaya (does this even count??), and an an antique assuit tunic that I don't like. One of my skirts, the galibaya, and the tunic are homemade. My costume wardrobe has been approximately this size for quite a while now; when I buy a costume I generally sell one.

I have spent and still spend more money on instruction (classes, privates, workshops), music, and performance videos for study. I'm pretty sure my music collection alone outvalues my costume collection.

Re: Hola from The Land of Enchantment!

Hi Sedonia...you are admirable in your restraint. I am afraid that when you combine discretionary income with a love of textiles and history and add a large dash of dance and music love - you end up with an exploding walkin in the spare bedroom! Now tell me more about that assuit! Thank you all for making me feel welcome
