from looking at different twitter profiles it looks like people use tweets various ways:
- to advertise personal interests, as in classes or to bring people to their website,
- as dialogues with others @whatever,
- about random life events,
- or to post links to related sites/articles/etc.

I like twitter and use it non-exclusively for bellydance, that is, I may post about any of the above -
