I think they are. I need to go home and check. I'll let you know a little later. This means that they would mirror eachother, correct? Rather than both opening the same way, one opens differently? I've always made due with whatever ... so I'm not clear on the difference.

Left and right open differently so that they can be easily maneuvered by both hands without having to adjust one of them as you flick it open (usually the left hand)
That´s a great price for these fans and the color is beautiful, so I´ll bid anyway.
