Sep/30/08 - Has anyone bought from this ebay seller??

i've been watching a couple of his/her Egyptian fringe on ebay and i was wondering if any of you have purchased from him/her?

Some people have complained about the quality of the product and i would like to know more of a first hand account. i think it's a great deal, but sometimes great deals mean bad quality and/or products

Cheap quality fringe, the glass beads are sewn on with thin thread and not thick thread that is tied at the bottom,but thin thread that is looped at the bottom and brought back up through the line. When I received mine, a lot of the fringe was loose in the package. You get what you pay for - another lesson learned about buying fringe on ebay.

If anybody is interested a friend of mine sells fringe and it's LOVELY! Her prices are great and she's here in the U.S. She sells via eBay, her store is Tinas Treasures, I believe. Most of her fringe is knotted on 'ribbon', a heavy cotton type that is very nice to sew into costumes. The strands are individually strung and knotted on (I can vouch for this). She has some new styles coming in soon too.

I've emailed her a couple of times to see what type of fringe she is willing to do... she's very nice, never bought from her though. If you search for belly dance fringe on ebay you will see her.

I bought fringe from the ebay vendor Somakiss was asking about and found it to be of poor quality. I also have purchased from the other ebay vendor mentioned, when the store was still operated by her mother. I found that fringe to be rather sparse and had to double it up to get the density I wanted.

If you're going to spend money on making your own costume, don't skimp on the fringe. It costs alot to get the good stuff, but it is so worth it. Your costume will last longer and be more valuable when you're ready to sell it.

Agree!!! i normally do my own fringe, but i was feelin' kinda lazy (that was short lived) :)

I purchased from Alfarouz (listed above) and found the quality very poor...loose fringe, fringe crocked and far apart, the rope it was on was too thick...I was really disappointed and wrote to them, but didn't get a good response. Awhile ago I bought on ebay really excellent quality fringe, but I forgot the seller:(
