stupid people. i highly doubt their tattoos are tax deductible. boob jobs aren't anymore & you could argue they are more necessary to a performers career. ya know they coulda included some tattooed cab chix. tina

Well...I'm always 'up' for seeing any belly dancers who have ink...but...I have to say that my eyebrows raise quite a few times whilst reading...the author was probably blinded by their talent and beauty...

i wish i could get tattoos. i have one on my neck which is covered by my hair...but the fact is i would lose some jobs if i got the tattoos i want...i have had a back piece in mind for years. maybe one day.

Where do you live? My ink is pretty visable and it's never cost me a job...as a matter of fact, I think it's enhanced my 'exotic' look to a lot of audiences...Arabs included...

I think by tonight I should have a photo ready I took last week in Istanbul.
Of Özlem, a Turkish dancer who performs in the classiest "Turkish night show" (for tourists) in Istanbul who has several tattoos (that she didn't have last year) AND a big belly piercing.
(and personally, I have a date to cover up my old, faded neck tattoo with something pretty! Although I am not looking forward to the pain...)
yay i've seen tattoos on turkish dancers or at least they were dancing in turkey;) so i assumed. i wish they woulda made an effort to contact a tattooed cabaret dancer besides tattoo magazines have done pieces on these gals before.

Here's Özlem. Tats on right upper arm, left boob and two crossed swords around belly button. Then she has this dangly thing on her belly piercing and she makes belly pops to let it "dance"...
She might not be the best dancer around, but she sure is amusing.
