Question about body stockings...

Does anyone have any experience with any type of body stocking that was NOT specifically made for belly dance? I have own a nude and a black Sugarpetals and am satisfied. However....

I stumbled across a website that has 45 colors of body stockings - and they're $10 each!! I'm considering ordering one just to give it a go.

These do have the feet in them though.....

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Be aware that they won't be powernet like the ones made for belly dance. For $10, they will probably be the limp fishnet like cheap tights. So they'll cover you just fine, but they won't hold anything in like powernet does.

If they are that fabric, though, they won't ravel, so you can cut off the feet, or even cut off the legs with no issues.

Yes - I doubt highly that they would be made with much elasticized material.

But I like the idea of colored stocking more for coverage than control....

i have some pantyhose that look just like that. they are made from nylon/or whatever pantyhose are usually made from. i could be wrong, but that's what mine look like.

Let me tell you how ghetto I am. I wear nude color fishnet pantyhose one size to big to allow room to stretch under my bra. I've never had any problems yet, "knock on wood".

*edit* as for the back I wear a vest to cover up the back of the pantyhose on my back.

We've had their fishnet tops. They are fine and stretch to fit bigger gals also.Cheap and perfectly serviceable but I can't speak for their bodies. The top are very long and stay down (!!)and we wore them as bodies.
Try www.designsbyjanie.com and See fit body stockings of Australia. I have just received 2 more from them and they are really nice. I actually wanted one with less power than powermesh which can get very uncomfortable especially with all that tribal gear.These are both in crystal lycra and fishnet and do the trick.
I got my Oz ones from Erica Allan and she sells on eBay. They are my favourites as they have built in cotton niks but Janie soes great colours and,,,gusset...

Does anyone have advice on how to successfully attach the top of the bodystocking to the bra? I am struggling with getting the hooks in the right places (I think that is the problem). It just doesn't seem to be fitting!!!!!

I put a hook in the center, then one at the outer edge of each cup up at the top of where the end of underwire would be, not at the bottom edge of the band

Does anyone know where I can get a full legged nude bodysuit (with or without arms)? I tried to order either the style #2 or #4 from Sugar Petals but apparently they are no longer available. :(

I have a black lace tank top from JCPenny that stretches below my hips. For some reason it stays on.

For nude, I purchased the body stocking on EBAY, they are sparkling and hide marks, but doesn't have to hold like Sugarpetals power net. Her name there is, Eralla2.

But, the powernet on Sugarpetals, doesn't hide my marks, but boy does it hold, lol.

You guys might laugh, but I wear them both. I have a really bad marks and skin from losing weight after my first pregnancy. But, they both work really well, without the high cost of surgery.
