Can we start another Online Vendor thread?
Being unable to locate the old thread, I figured we could just start another one.
I was looking for all the usual suspects in addition to some other lesser known ones.
I'll start us off-
www.dahlal.com
www.audrena.com
www.bellydancewithk.com/boutique/index.htm
Come on ladies, help out a belly dance costume addict...

I really like Modemystique. They´ve got great prices on chiffon skirt and veil sets (starting at $18) and also on embroidered sets.

Miss Bellydance offers a very reasonable price on wholesale turkish costumes. These are just the regular run of the mill turkish bedleh. Five for $499 including shipping.

There´s always Tony & Robby in Brazil, though I still haven't figured out how to order from them but I love to look at their costumes:

And lastly, this isn't really a costume vendor but if you want to drool (as I do) there is Lebanese designer Amina Al Jassim. She designs traditonal arab ladies wear for weatlhy gulf clients. Her designs are to die for. Check out her many pages of Traditional and Classical collections:

Jessedan:
Regarding Tony & Robby in Brazil - they are the most sought after costumer in Brazil and all of his work is custom. Their creations are exquisite and sumptuous!!
The timing of this thread is interesting because Robby emailed me yesterday and let me know that he has 15 costumes ready to sell if I was interested or knew anyone that was interested. They're $1,000 reais each (that's about $515 USD). I've asked him to send pics and measurements.
I will post the information he sends me in case anyone is interested!

Yeah, I know. Shay has several of their costumes that she had made in Brazil, and they're gorgeous.
The last time I checked about costumes with them, it was around the time of some festival (maybe carnaval? Can't remember) and they were swamped with work. It's good to know that they have some ready made ones. I'd love to see pictures and sizes.
Regards

This is bellydancestore's ebay store. She often accepts offers for less than her original asking price. I have gotten some real great deals.

Hi Antimony! Their stuff is GREAT!
There's another thread floating around about chiffon arm bands. This is an accessory they make.

The long drapey ones? Those are SO pretty. I have several of Lulu Sabongi's videos and most of the dancers are wearing them. They just make the costumes look more elegant. The costumes that the dancers are wearing in the videos are definitely not Egyptian or Turkish, they are either Tony & Robby creations, or Tia Cecy designs and they are to DIE for. Not even an Abla or a Pharaonics can compare. I watch Lulu's videos (and also Tia Cecy) just to drool over the costumes.
I can convice hubby to hand over the $515 for a Tony & Robby costume! Please let us know when you get pics and sizes. Do they take paypal? How would one go about transeferring funds?
Thanks
Priscilla

Yes! The long drapey ones! I love them too....especially when you've never had the wispy girly arms.
I agree - there's no costume like theirs out there. I cherish the one and only that I have.
I will post pics and measurements as soon as I get them. I will be your point of contact for purchase and I do take PayPal.
