Eye Kandy cosmetics
Hi all,
I just bought my first kit of eye kandy last Sunday at Fifi's.... I love it!!!!! so far I've only been experimenting with it... I bought 5 different colors. Ay suggestions on how to apply it, interesting designs, etc.? How do you girls use yours?

i love eye kandy. love it!
i use it as eyeliner, on it's own as shadow, overtop of eyeshadow. i've used it on my lid the most, but sometimes under my eyebrow to accent the arch. i've seen it used to make designs on the body too.

Did you also get the liquid sugar to apply it with? that's the key, although I've heard people using hair gel in a pinch.

Yes I did, but I just can't get it right. Either it goes on so sparingly that you can't see it, or it just goes on in clumps. I've tried using she laq instead of the sugar water but that didn't help either.

I have not used the eye candy brand in particular, but for other cosmetic grade glitter? It is all about the lube. As in personal lubricant. Keeps the glitter on like a charm!

You can also use Mehron mixing liquid if you don't have the liquid sugar - the ingredients are the same.

in a pinch, i have use clear gel eye cream. i forget.. it's by mac.. ezr.. ez.. something. it's all in the mixing. also some of the colors aren't meant to be used as shadows only as liners. i have mixed colors together. usually in a little container first. i can only do 2 at a time on my eye. i think i have 10 colors right now. overall they cover most of my costume colors. a lot of drugstore brand companies have started coming out with glitters as well, at first they hurt my eye and they weren't fine enough.. i think revlon has come out with something finer, i have yet to try it out.

I bought Caramel Apple, Tempest, and Dancer's Basic this weekend. I also have Candy Apple and Chiclet.
I have a black/multi blend I bought from a costume shope that's very similar to Rachel's Rooster Tail, as well as a silver holgraphic, a gold holographic, a bluish white irridescent.
Oh, and I have a tiny amount of grey glitter I got in a MAC samples kit I ordered on Ebay. I wish I had a whole tub of it - it's a beautiful pewter grey.
