Sizing for Melodias?

I've never bought Melos before, but (like everyone else!) I'm in love with the new Phoenix-Melo pants. I think I must have them!

The only problem is, I'm not clear on where I fall in their sizes. This is the info from the Phoenix site:

S
Sizes: 2-4-6
Inseam: 32"
Height: 5'3"
Low hip: 32"-35"

M
Sizes: 6-8-10
Inseam: 33"
Height: 5'6"-5'9"
Low hip: 35"-38"

* Low Hip is the width 2.5-3 inches below the belly button (Sounds like what I would call the high hip.)

Small actually looks fine to me for size, hip measurement, and inseam, but I'm 5'8", so I'm a little confused about the height issue.

Thoughts from any of the Melo addicts out there?

your biggest guide is how curvy you are. the pants are made with 4 way stretch. If you are short, with wide hips, you would go up on the length, the reverse is also true, if you're not that curvy, you can go down on the size, and keep the length.

for reference, I', 5'4" (and 3/4's!!!!! :-) my hips are 38 around at the largest part (my bootey), I wear the M32's. they give me enough hug that they don't sag, but I can manage the length. I don't like my clothes tight at all, so I won't go to the S33, although they also fit.

Did that help?

If the inseam measurement is good for you, then order that. Don't worry about your height. I think the height is given for the benefit of people who don't know what an inseam measurement is.

I would err on the side of possibly too large and get the mediums--you can always shrink them down a little in the dryer if you need to, but there's no way to stretch them out if they are too small.

Thanks for the tips!

The inseam measurement is right for me, but, given that the pants pull up with your curves maybe I should err to the larger size...
