I like how the title of the item is, "Young, Fabulous, and Broke." Yup, a person WOULD be broke after buying these!
They're cute, but when you compare them to Melodias they seem overpriced.
Now, the MeloPhoenix pants are a different matter, because they have the batik designs. I heard they were being sold for $125/pair at Tribal Fest this year, which is a $5 increase over what they sold for last year. (If you're not familiar with them, see http://phoenixrisingartists.com/cata...58ca5b775d4eb1 ). I love 'em!

What's cool about those pants is the way they structured the waist band - you can adjust without getting muffin top. But, seriously, that price is twice what it reasonably should be

These are very cute, but I have to admit...such a simple design made of FLEECE and RAW EDGES (not hemmed) at $106- is *crazy*

Yeah, I love how the raw edges are a "detail" rather than an "oversight".

Re:Young fabulous and broke
They're gorgeous. The cut is beautiful and by the looks of the hang, the material is probably very good quality (one would hope). They are also made in the states (i believe I read that). I think with all the cheap Chinese imports these days (not saying that China cannot produce quality either), everything looks cheap in comparison.

That should have read "everything looks expensive in comparison"

Eshe, if you get them, could you also let me know what the fabric feels like? Polyester doesn't work for my dance gear, bt I could pimp them with hotfix rhinestones into club gear.

There's a new student at our school who has these awesome white knit palazzo pants with a fold-over top like that, slashed up the sides. I *want* some. They couldn't be that hard to make...

Personally I love Sharifwear pants. She has some really, really cute styles with built in drapes and skirts, net inserts on the flared legs, rhinestones, etc.
And real-life sizing.

Agreed Me too. I have a fold over black top and a pair with a mini skirt studded in silver that is repeated on one flared leg. They are also very easy to care, look good after many washings as I wear them all the time for class.

Do the pants in that last link have a HUGE cameltoe or is it just me?
