Playing with eye kandy!
Hi all,
I've been having fun experimenting with eye kandy this morning. Take a look!

Yes, I think it is. I bought it from Shadiyah last weekend at Fifi's but I think it's the same one...

Is there a link to buy Eye Kandy online? Their website doesn't seem to have a store.

I really need to learn how to put on stage eye makeup appropriately!
I was thinking about going to the MAC store or to Sephoria. Would they know anything about how to apply stage eye makeup appropriately?

MAC artists are *awesome* with stage makeup, Sephora is more hit-or-miss.

You put "awesome" between asteriks! Is that good?
I remember going in there and there was a drag queen who worked there who, although everything else was immaculate, his drawn-on eyebrows made me hesitant....

yes, very good. Though the people in the real MAC stores are usually better at the funky/performance stuff than the people who work at the department store counters.
Drawn on eyebrows basically always look bad, especially up close. Don't shave off your natural ones, and you should be fine!

There are some great tutorials on Youtube for applying makeup for stage, fashion.

She has some really good stuff and goes slow enough for you to at least right it down.

I don't know the MAC cream, but Lumene has a great base for eyes.
It really helps the color stay. I could not live with out it. Its better than any normal foundation I have tried. Although I have used is so many years, that maybe things has changed.

thanks for posting the tutorials, devisafir. I use Maybelline matte mousse as a base for my eyes, then apply a layer of translucent powder to fixate.

Anybody here with blue eyes that have used Eye Kandy? And which colors look good with blue eyes, I like the Cherry Bomb, but I'm afraid it would look freakish.
