My first reaction was royal blue, but I also like turquoise and apple green. The Volcanic veil is pretty awesome, too. Then there's pink and orange.... I'm glad you have to make the decision not me!

I would use a lime green veil (I do have several lime costumes and use lime green veils with them). Or I remember at the Fifi event, SamiraShuruk wore a two piece lime green Eman Zaki costume with gold beadwork and she came on stage with a blue and lime green silk veil and it looked really nice.

Wow, so many ideas and I think they'd all be beautiful!
Seems like I can't go wrong.

Kata
I vote for the Kata veil - gorgeeeeussss.
Bea, that costume under the veil looks really beautiful...pics in your gallery? I'll go check. That's right - that's the cool skirt detail. Very nice. I like the Veil picture by Jo Conway also

I agree with a couple others who have suggested white, or even a white/gold gradient would be lovely. I lean towards simple and elegant over wilder color combos, but that's my hang-up ;)

I love the idea of white, or a gold blend, or a minty green, if I were doing a juicy, elegant, understated Umm K piece. I think it would be lovelyl!
But in this case, I'm looking for a powerful, energetic entrance impression. Strong, vibrant. I may look at getting a solid for later, though.

Oooooo....Jess's Kata is gorgeous!
I would have gone with that, or something raspberry or watermelon.
My mouth is watering.
