Some new Eman Zaki costumes on beledi.ru
I came across this nine page thread on www.beledi.ru that featured some newer Eman designs (or at least what appears to be "newer" given that Eman hasn't updated her web site in over a year!). For those of you who have been to this thread before, the newer costumes start at around page 7. Enjoy!

I am enjoying. Definitely enjoying.
I just adore the ones with the crisscross wrap around the midsection. It's very sexy without showing too much skin.

Whoah, the lime green ones are shockers, so bright! Man the snake one is crazy. I kinda like the red one with the feather on the readhead. Looks nice on her. Man these costumes are not forgiving if you have any ounces of fat. Im telling you, if I get back down to a size 4, Im treating myself to a brand new Eman. :)

I've seen some of those in person -- the feathered one is so rich and beautiful.
Lotus Niraja troupe wore the red criss-cross ones at Fifi.
That woman (Eman, I mean) sure knows how to showcase a beautiful, feminine dancer. The Russian girls are so beautiful, and so passionate!

Yes, I like that one, too. You must be referring to the red one with the turquoise scarabs. I have that costume in neon glitter slinky orange and I love it!

The lime green ones are really super limey. If that's even a word. They are so bright you can see them with your eyes closed. I have a two piece lime from Eman (actually the lime green embrace on Dahlal's web site). Its like electric lime! Its so bright in person!

Yes, I remember that burgondy one that Lous Niraja wore and her girls wore a red one (it was made by a local seamstress, not by Eman, but done in the style of Eman, but Lotus' one was by Eman). The featured one is rich partly cuz its in velvet which gives it a nice texture. I have the same one but in dark green velvet swirl.

I think dancers of different sizes will look good in Emans cuz her fabrics are thick and her bead work is also thick. She often has nice gatherings and pleats.

Yes, I love that one, too. I know exactly which one you are talking about. Too bad that Eman doesn't have the fabric anymore. She tends to run out of her tye-dyes or printed fabrics right away and only keeps on stock the solid colored ones in bulk.

I love those Eman costumes. I'm getting 'under the sun' from Dahlal.
Thanks for posting Christina. I hope she doesn't raise her prices though.

I felt vey honoured when I watched the Nour and Khaled DVD and Nour was wearing a similar Eman dress in red..it had a mesh middle but the appliques and drapes are similar to mine! Just wish <SIGH> I could "dance similar" to Nour!

Yes, generally Amira makes all of Nour's costumes, but Nour had one made by Eman. I know the one you are talking about. The appliques are red paisleys. Its a really nice costume on Nour. I think Eman made it for Nour while Nour was pregnant (Nour performed through her fourth month).

Yes, I love that one, too. I almost ordered it. I really liked all the little crystals that Eman glued onto the stars.
