she will also accept offers, i've emailed her and asked if she would consider for selling less than the listed price, and she's accepted and been very nice about it. Shipping was reasonable as well, and fast.

Unfortunately, while I think Shahrzad is a lovely person - my experience custom ordering from bellydance store was miserable. It took me about 6 months to get a refund and several months to get responses to emails.

On the upside, she did refund in full (eman shipment gone awry apparently but whatever). I will never custom order from her again, but if she has something in stock I would.

She has accepted offers from me as well for far less than the listed price. I had to return one, and I received the refund promptly, and one I sold right away. The problem is- she often does not measure lycra costumes correctly. If she state hips as being able to fit up to 40, figure it is no more than 38. I also custom ordered two Eman, it took nine months, and they were too small. I returned them, but took a bit of prodding for the refund. I think she has tightened up her operation a bit, but I am not sure she is dealing with Eman any more other than what she has in stock.

Hi, Sumaya! I'm returning to Egypt in November, and I'm hoping to go to Turkey in August. If the Turkey trip falls through, I'll be in Chicago for Kimahri's First Ever Gonna Be Awesome Grand Spectacular Showcase Competition (I think that's the official title). I should know in a few days.

OMG it came already! The Haman costume, and it is perfect! it even has incorporated shorts in the skirt. No accessories came with it, so I need to find a head band! Anyone knows where? Dont make me have to make one!

I have to say, I'll probably never order something "custom-fitted." From what I hear, waiting months for a custom costume almost never ends up that way. I think you're better off ordering something in stock. And as luck had it, it fit you just fine! Looks great!

I have purchased two costumes from her ebay store and both were gorgeous! One them fit pretty well, and one was just a bit tighter than I like, but the price was so good and it does still fit, just not quite the way I want it too. IME she does take FOREVER to respond to queries, but the costumes and prices are both outstanding.

Ah! I must have been lucky as she replied to me on the same day or the next day, and my costume got here very quickly. It is a bit too long, actually, but it is fine when I am on my tippy toes. So, I am thinking of getting shoes with heels... I dont know if I can learn to dance in those, but I might just try. I am short anyways, 5'4, so heels wouldnt hurt right?
