Packing your BD goodies for Moving

We just bought a house which leads me to a question for those of you who have changed residences since you started dancing.

How do you safely pack everything ( bra, belts, costumes, ect.) to ensure that no harm comes to them during the moving process?

PS. I am house poor. Please stop tempting me with all the beautiful costumes!

Big plastic rubbermaid containers. And you move them with you in your car. . .

Although I don't normally store my costumes in plastic bags (I like to let them breathe), I'll encase them in plastic for moving to protect them from dust, dirt, and grit that they may be exposed to en route.

And if at all possible, transport them with you in your car, NOT in the moving van. Moving companies sometimes lose boxes, and moving vans sometimes get into car accidents that can damage the contents of the van.
