Online sources for Egyptian fringe?

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for sources for beaded fringe for certain costuming projects. I've contacted Ali with Turquoise International, but he does not carry the fringe I want.

I am specifically looking for 2", 3" and icicle style fringe (usually only seen on Pharaonics costumes).

I prefer Egyptian-style fringe made with the hexcut beads rather than bugles.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hmmm, I'm not sure as I would have suggested Turqouise International. Try doing a google search for "beaded fringe" and see what vendors show up.

I only tried Turquoise because he has fringe listed on his site. I've also contacted Scheherezade Imports, but she's out of the country right now.

There are several vendors out of Egypt on EBay that sell fringe. Do an ebay search on "glass fringe" or "Egyptian fringe". There's one vendor I'm planning to buy from soon.

Also Try Isis and Horus. if you're willing to spend $200 (I'm saving up for this) they have a crapload of different styles and they aren't that expensive.

atira sells the best quality fringe I've ever seen. you could contact her about custom ordering the icicle fringe, if she doesn't stock it. http://www.atirasfashions.com/
