I've seen that one before and I still think she is wearing little black boy short type of coverage . . . which under that see thru dress looks very suggestive . . . . and, yes, the camera does focus on it to emphasis. I never have been able to figure out why someone makes a costume like that . . . if you look at the sides where there is a zipper, you can see a black line . . . so silly!!! It rather ruins the effect of the costume. But then again, when Suhaila wore a see thru dress with beige undergarments, everyone was commenting on that one too!! Damned if ya do, damned if ya dont . . . show the undies that is, LOL!

I've seen that clip on VHS - I know for a fact that she's wearing boy shorts in it, if not a girdle - the way her flesh moves, it looks to me like she's wearing something tight enough to "hold her in".

I just rewatched it, and I see what you mean, but I think it's more a result of poor quality video than Dina wearing no underwear.

I totally agree! Isn't the costuming supposed to flatter bellydance movements? Unless tugging at the bottom of one's miniskirt hem is a new Egyptian move, I don't see how her miniskirt flatters her dancing.

Does anyone know if Dina has nipples? Is she a fembot that wasn't built with them? I swear, I could NEVER get away with a bra like that! I would constantly be tucking those girls back in!

What I often think re Dina's costuming is that she will surely know that everyone who doesn't know her personally will assume she's a whore anyway. It seems to be the way of things in modern Egypt. So she probably thinks "to hell with it - they think I'm slutty, I'll show them slutty!" I actually don't find her dancing slutty at all,and perhaps I'm just inured, but I don't think that costume is bad. Daring, yeah, but it's no more revealing than many of our local salsa dancers wear. I've seen "pro" Latin Carribean groups in bras with the tags still on them and a touch of fringe on the front, g-strings and a little loin cloth in performance, so by comparison Dina is well covered.

Yes I have this at home on DVD and for some reason it looks way worse on the computer.

I heard from someone who went to her show that she was wearing an incredibly short skirt that hitched its way up revealing an unwaxed nether region(bikini line). It was thought that she did it for the shock value as it is somehow seen as exotic as most women over there wax it all.

I still love Dina, shes great!

Hahaha! I was wondering how long it would take until we we're running around in fringe belts and beaded undies! All we need now is for cups to be replaced by really big necklaces and we're almost back to ancient Egyptian costuming. ;-) I bet it doesn't take long to make her new costumes! This could be the perfect solution for summer haflas or for venues with no AC. Aaaand for those venues with AC... I bet you get a great breeze! Being optimistic here... if this catches on I bet it will become much easier for "Do-it-yourself-ers" to make costumes! A B-Dazzler and Bikini Wrap. *RimShot* *chuckles* Hahaha ok I'm bad but it's just too easy.

The costume of Dina wearing a mini skirt is by Sahar. Its an old video footage as Dina hadn't had her second breast augmentation yet. That clip took place at the Mena House. I have seen her wearing that costume at the Meridien in Sharm El Sheik. I would say that video clip is from 7 years ago.

Regarding the clip with the snow man in the left hand side. That's also by Sahar. There is a short dress with a long dress over it. Hanadi has a similar costume (also by Sahar) that she wore at one of the recent Nile Festivals, maybe the one before last. When Dina used to have a web site, she had a still photo of herself in that costume. The snow man clip is probably about 12/13 years old. Anyway, I love Dina and I love her costumes. She has a great figure and she is a great dancer so it doesn't bother me in the least!

Yes, she doesn have nipples, but probably had them repositioned when she had her breast augmentations. I wouldn't be surprised if she had them repositioned intentionally lower to enable her to wear those deep cut bra cups.

I have this clip at home on VHS on one of my Dina compilation video tapes. The quality of the video upload is not good (the quality of the VHS is not that great either). Anyway, I just realized that she is wearing a bodysuit with a skirt attached to it. The body suit terminates in shorts around her thighs and then she has some mesh nylon skirt over it. Definitely you cannot see her private parts in this video. Its the shadow, lighting, and bad angles, but there is no exposure of her parts in this video.

I've never had a breast augmentation and I could wear those bras, if I had the glue and the chutzpah, without showing nipple. It's actually not that abnormal.

Definetly....after watching the full version of this i find bellydance looses most of the mystique and interest when the dancer is wearing a mini.All i see is a pair of legs doing strange,unflattering movements...

Yes, this costume barely covers her butt. I have this clip at home on VHS. Its from many, many years ago. The full version also has appearances by Amani of Lebanon and Fifi Abdo. Fifi is wearing a pink mini dress but not as short as Dina's and it clings to her body instead of flaring out like Dina's.

Oh my word ! I *love it*. Though I was watching it in an internet cafe, and had to flick away from it as I was being overlooked on the ar£se close up shimmy bit. As a woman, I can see the dance, and not be distracted by the costume. I had a hilarious conversation with an Arab man the other evening, he kept saying how he didn't like either Dina or some local dancer who wears very skimpy costumes, he kept saying barts instead of parts. like "she wears very tight costume, and it shows her barts".

It reminded me of the bollywood class I took once, when the guy kept saying to move your belvis, and I thought it was a new body part that I didn't know about before. head, chest, belvis

I must say that I will forgive anyone who every laughs at my arabic, italian or french
