yes, I have seen quite a lot of ripped-off photos on eBay lately! especially with egyptian designers claiming that a swiped Bella is actually their own work.
yup that one looks exactly like a Bella i was drooling over a couple of years ago, I think Bellydance Shoppe has one on their site still? In previous costumes section?
What sucks is that an inexperienced dancer can be fooled into thinking it's the real thing and then end up paying big bucks for crap
What about the other costuems on mannequins? I didn't see anywhere in the auction where is claims to be a Bella? Many, if not all of the "other" sewers in Egypt copy the designers, right?
It bugs the living daylight out of me when sellers don't even show the most basic grasp of the language in which they advertise ("full" is not a German word, and neither is "bidden" - that language is deeply offensive). If the seller can't even list properly, it must be very interesting to resolve problems.
I don't mind that much vendors copying the costumes. But you will probably not get something that is looking like that costume, when they are copying the costumes they should take their own pics so you can see what quality it is.
We lately had that ebay vendor using Sandra's pics and later using pics of the costume they were selling and quality was a huge difference!
If the bidding stays beneath the 50 euro's, I'll place a bid to see what the qulity of the finished product is like. I'm afraid that it won't resemble the pictured quality
