yes I think she is more fulsome than that..she certainly looked it when I saw and I sure hope so!!!!!!!I was ignoring that waist.

us short ladies can still look good ! Plus we stand upright in situations where there is less headroom ! Like old cottage doorways etc.

i used to own this costume after Nour and was so stupid to sell it almost for nothing when i gained weight during pregnancy :(
what about Nour's waist line - it's really amazing especially when she was younger and she was always looking unreal with that thin thin waist and curvey hips - as if photoshoped in her real life :)

I've seen that costume on 2 dancers one in turquoise the other dark and also the later version with a low neck and shawl/hip scarf. It's Pharoanics, isn't it? I have the newer version but because I ordered dark blue the material was different whereas a fellow dancers ordered black with purple and it's the same fabric. It must be one of the most popular. I've seen it on Dahlal and Audrena and I think I saw Tanya in it in bright green.????
It's such a great dress as it looks good on so many different people. From the likes of Nour to little old me!

hm - i think this costume was handmade by Nour's mother - i remember she told she bought that beaded material in Emirates and then decorated it with stones and made costumes of it. I've seen others costume by Nour's mother - they all have similar stone work and overall look.
I'll look for a photo of me in this costume now for you to see it closer

the Russians
Would someone get one of the Russians over here already?
I've been lamenting about this for some time now. Of course, I'd prefer Nour or Natalya Strelchenko come to L.A., but I could do Chicago.
Yasmin (Ru) is a more voluptuous figure but I wouldn't mind having it. Shocking for me to say that with all the dieting but of course, she has that toned core. Of course, she's in her 20s right? or early 30s? sigh.

i think it would be easy to bring Nour to USA now since it so happened that her baby was born there - and i know that she'll be visiting US from time to time anyway cause they have Yasser's relatives living there. So i think overall it mustnot be that expensive or complicated to bring her. Just contact her - she's very experienced in sponsoring worksops herself and bringing people from abroad and she's such a nice and responsible person to deal with. I wish i had just a little of her industriousness and sense of responsibility :)

My impression is that it is very difficult to get Nour to leave Egypt b/c she has so many engagements there. Also, she prefers to travel with her mother and/or her husband - so it gets pretty expensive. I've been asking Little Egypt to bring her for years.
Nour is an excellent teacher - so warm and friendly. I took her class in Cairo and it was one of my favorites. Her style is so classy and fresh.
Bring her and I'll be there!
Oh - and ON topic... her figure really is that amazing. I always though she had a look like Linda Carter... Wonder Woman.

i'll advertise Yasser a bit ! ;)
Yasser is an outstanding singer - so the concert for 2 of them with their wonderful duos is a great idea i think! and also since last year Yasser did workshops in Russia on rhytms and dabke and i must say we didn't expect that they would be such a success! this time his workshop in October is almost fully booked ahead of even Nour's ones :) He has Syrian musical education and his interpretation of rhytms is fresh and helping. He made some music recording which helps very much to master the complicated rhytms!

in fact Yasmin is very young surely in her 20-s and she's so tiny in real life (not tall also) but when she comes on to stage she's so curvey! everyone who know her by videos is so surprised when sees her in person !
here's a photot gallery on her web site - http://yassmin.ru/page30.html

I think I'm in love with Yasmin. That kind of skin tone and hair on a voluptuous dancer...
She is a brick house.

It's so like the material and the design I have seen from Amira. It's quite possible, someone else got the material and made up the dress I am sure. I will try to find a picture also.
