Found a great pair of jazz shoes!

I like to wear jazz shoes in class and am always on the lookout for a great pair of shoes to practice in.

I ordered a pair of Bloch's Adult Super Jazz Shoe based on the reviews at Discount Dance, and wore them last night.

I love them! Super comfortable and supportive, but barely felt like I was wearing anything. I definitely recommend them, and thought I'd pass on my recommendation in case anyone was looking for a good pair of practice shoes.

Thanks for posting, I've been eyeballing those.

The description says 'rubber forefoot and heel' does that mean the split sole under the ball of the foot is rubber? That's what's been stopping me. If it's suede, I want a pair!

Lauren, you're correct, the split sole under the ball of the foot is rubber, not suede.

I think I have only ever had rubber soled jazz shoes, so I can't compare to suede. These provide a nice grip, but still able to spin and arabesque easily.

Interesting! I've only worn teacher sandals, which are suede, I thought rubber would be hard to spin on. But maybe I should try it!
