need new makeup ideas

I have 4-5 photo shoots in the next 2 weeks. I'd like to have a few different looks for each of them.

I had a beautiful friend come with me to the last one to do my makeup. But I don't know if I can drag anyone else along for the next ones, plus they are soon.

Any ideas?

Can you volunteer as a test-dummy for a local Beauty School student? Do you know anyone who is studying to be a beautician/make-up artist/theatrical designer. They could take a copy of the photos for their own portfolio, everyone's a winner.

Do you have Mac or Sephora stores there? Either one can offer you a makeover & some tips at no charge (though you tend to feel compelled to buy something.)

And yes, they do have Mac stores here. I will try and get in. :)

Fake eyelashes are really great for photo shoots and really enhance the eyes. You can just use the tips on the outer lashes as well. Also, a brow liner to define the brow is really good.

I second what Lauren said. Go to a beauty counter and ask them for help in doing your eyes etc. Especially Mac.

Ulta-3 stores (like Sephora, but more economical!:)) also do FREE makeovers, even if all you buy (and only IF you like the end result; you;re not really obligated to purchase) is a lipstick. Just make an appointment or go during a non-busy time. You can even request certain brands: A couple of months before my (outdoor, beach) wedding, I set an appointment to have a makeover to try the BareEscentuals makeup. I ended up loving it!
