I bought one once, and it was so fantastic, however, I could not pull the skirt up over my boo-tay.
I had to unfortunately, return it.....
I don't have pics though.....
I bought it through

Oooh liking that Aziza one!
I can't stop looking at her gorgeous juicy leg though, lol.
Maria, I remember when you bought that bella, I had my eye on it too, but I think it was too short for me anyway.
I wish I'd kept a pic of it for my costume-porn stash!

wasn't that fantastic! The bra fit beautifully, but the hips........
jeez, they were tiny.......
top hip had to be 30" max.

Hi, new to this it's my first post so hope it works!
Anyway, Audrena just added a tribal section to her website and she told me on the phone that she will be adding more costumes to this section in the near future. Maybe she will have something that interests you.

maybe you can ask some of the ones that have Bella's?
little story from the bella shop, like two years ago; when i saw them there the first time and asked, ah, you have tribal stuff now, she replied they were selling so easily and she thought it was very strange people are buying these like crazy, as these are the first ones her mother taught her how to sew and she finds them extremely old fashioned.
luckylily for us that means they are not at bella's diva costume prices... ;-) and affordable (well, as bella's go)

I took a look at Aziza's and thought the same thing! I mean, I think it looks beautiful on her and used to wear similar costumes myself, but why is it considered tribal? Is it because of the metal, because they look very similar to the kind of costumes we were wearing in the 70's/80's.

The costumes are a mix of cabaret and tribal elements, hence the term 'tribaret'. The kuchi pendants and afghan coins are uncommon in cabaret costuming, but are often used in tribal costuming.
I like the mix, but I rather buy a cabaret Bella then a tribaret Bella. if I wanted tribal, I'd try to find a european/american designer.

Maria's former Bella
This is the tribaret Bella I bought from the Bellydance Store in NC, which I believe is the one that Maria returned (I know you really wanted it, lol, but I am darn glad you sent it back!)

I have a feeling you're going to look just as good in it. Bellas seem to be magical that way!

It's a "how long have you been doing this" kind of distinction. A longtime friend recently described her troupe's costume as tribaly and I remarked that she must mean what our costumes looked like 20 years ago-when we still made our own.
That's not an insult, BTW. But it was a lot easier to use premade things like kuchi and coins than to sew on lots of sequins and beads.
